Senior Social Worker

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a highly skilled and experienced social worker to lead a team of professionals in providing exceptional care and support to residents with psychiatric conditions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • To provide leadership and guidance to the team in developing and implementing individualised care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • To work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across all aspects of resident care.
    • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress, including case notes, incident reports, and medication management.
    • To develop and deliver training programs for staff on various topics related to mental health, social services, and crisis management.
    • To participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, identifying areas for growth and development within the service.
  • Requirements:
    • A degree in Social Work or Graduate Diploma in Social Work.
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
    • Excellent case management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
    • A strong emphasis on teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability.
