Lead Audit Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Audit Professional to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading audit engagements, managing teams, and ensuring high-quality results. They will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising various audit assignments, as well as providing leadership on audit engagements. The successful candidate will also be accountable for the audit engagement, ensuring that progress is closely monitored against budget and timeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise various audit assignments for review by the engagement manager or partner.
  • Manage a portfolio of engagements to deliver high-quality audit services.
  • Provide leadership on audit engagements, including client acceptance process, engagement planning, execution, and finalization.
  • Fully accountable for the audit engagement and ensures that the engagement progress against budget and timeline is closely monitored.
  • Serves to develop and maintain long-term client relationships and value-add to the audit firm by identifying new business development opportunities.
  • Review and provides key technical expertise to ensure the quality of audit work performed is in compliance with professional standards and requirements.
  • Contributes towards continuous improvement in audit methodology and process.
  • Assume a greater role in professional development activities such as training, staff recruitment, and resource planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience as an Audit Supervisor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, strong technical competence, and ability to provide training of staff.
  • Experience in IPOs.
