We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Health regulations and company policies.
">- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate and conduct ESH training programs for staff and contractors
- Monitor and manage waste disposal, air emissions, and other environmental controls
- Maintain proper documentation for ESH reports, permits, and audits
- Liaise with authorities on ESH matters and ensure regulatory requirements are met
- Support emergency response planning and conduct drills
The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with local EHS regulations and statutory requirements is essential. Strong communication and organizational skills are also required.
To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
