Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Steel Structure Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of steel structures during ongoing and future projects.

"

Key Responsibilities:

" 1. Prepare and review procedures, material submittals, and other structural steel work-related documents. ""

2. Develop and approve method statements and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for steel structures and associated works. "

"

3. Prepare shop drawings and fabrication drawings for inspection. "

"

4. Verify reports submitted by steel subcontractors. "

"

5. Ensure site installations adhere to approved drawings and connection details. "

"

6. Coordinate between welding specialist engineers and third-party inspectors/inspection agencies. "

"

7. Lead/manage a team of welding inspectors to ensure strict QA/QC compliance during onsite and offsite activities of various subcontractors. "

"

8. Review reports from factories and fabrication locations. "

"

9. Ensure all works meet approved drawings, project specifications, and local/international standards and codes. "

"

10. Verify reports for inspections at various stages (raw materials, fit-up, dimensional checks, weld visuals, galvanizing, and painting DFT, etc.). "

"

11. Conduct material receiving inspections on-site. "

"

12. Inspect bolt installations before steel column erection. "

"

13. Conduct inspections for grouting works. "

"

14. Coordinate with clients and site teams for various inspections and testing. "

"

15. Submit daily reports to the QAQC Manager. "

"

Requirements:

" 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. ""

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in steel structure quality assurance. "

"

3. Strong knowledge of steel structure construction methods and practices. "

"

4. Excellent communication and leadership skills. "

"

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. "
