About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SPED instructor to join our educational team. As a dedicated professional, you will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support to students with unique learning requirements
• Create an inclusive learning atmosphere and monitor student progress regularly
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and maintain effective communication with parents
• Participate actively in professional development to enhance instructional strategies and stay updated on best practices
• Ensure compliance with documentation and reporting regulations
• Maintain a well-organized work environment aligned with industry standards

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field; teaching certification preferred
• At least 2 years of prior experience as a SPED Teacher or in a similar role is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, organization, and knowledge of special education regulations
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant office software
