Senior Rail Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rail Systems Engineer to play a vital role in the design, development, and implementation of our rail systems.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.
About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex rail systems, including PLC/SCADA systems. They will work closely with our internal teams and external partners to ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, experience with PLC/SCADA systems, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement complex rail systems, including PLC/SCADA systems;
  2. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability;
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, drawings, and manuals;
  4. Liaise with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions;
  5. Coordinate and manage factory testing and commissioning of our systems.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic or related discipline;
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in PLC/SCADA systems;
  • Familiarity with safety PLC programming and Siemens and Schneider PLCs;
  • Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, and drawings;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in teams;
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
