Job Title: Logistics Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Parcel Handler to join our logistics team. This role involves handling parcels to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate processing within our logistics and delivery operations.

  • Parcel Preparation:

    Prepare parcels for shipping by accurately picking, packing, and labeling items.

  • Inspection:

    Inspect incoming and outgoing parcels for damage, ensuring all items are secure for transit.

  • Sorting:

    Sort and organize parcels according to delivery routes and destinations.

  • Documentation:

    Maintain accurate documentation of package handling processes and update inventory records.

  • Equipment Operation:

    Operate machinery such as forklifts, reach trucks, and hand trucks for loading and unloading parcels.

  • Safety Compliance:

    Follow all safety and health regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials when necessary.

  • Team Collaboration:

    Work closely with colleagues to meet daily operational targets and provide support in other areas as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Nitec or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in parcel handling, warehousing, or logistics is an advantage but not mandatory.

Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Able to follow instructions accurately and maintain organized workflows.

Good physical stamina and ability to work on their feet for extended periods.

Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
