Electrical Engineer - Production Support

This role involves managing production support engineering for a specific product or group of products.

About the Job

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Product Yield Enhancement (PYE) Engineering Team, you will be responsible for providing full fault isolation and failure analysis support for qualifications, customer returns, new device introduction, and test failures.

  • Fault Isolation and Failure Analysis: You will perform sophisticated electrical device characterization to determine electrical fail mechanisms and operate fault isolation equipment to accurately narrow down failure defect locations.
  • Physical Failure Analysis: You will conduct physical failure analysis to identify and classify physical defects and establish potential electrical or process fail mechanisms based on detailed electrical fail models and physical failure analysis characterization.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will collaborate closely with a diverse range of collaborators, including teams from frontend to backend and the Global Quality department, to address and resolve defectivity issues and prepare and present comprehensive electrical and physical failure mechanisms on a weekly basis to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience, Master's or equivalent experience, or PhD degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Material Science.
  • Proven experience as a great team player with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and a strong drive to excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively in large meetings.
  • Highly motivated individuals with a passion for innovation and excellence.
  • Knowledge of fault isolation equipment, techniques, and physical failure analysis is a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of NAND/DRAM/HBM devices and knowledge of Fab processes is a desirable asset.
