Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumber to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing division, you will be responsible for performing plumbing maintenance and construction tasks under the supervision of our experienced foreman.

The successful candidate will have excellent diagnostic skills, with the ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications. They will also possess prior computer experience and be able to effectively utilize computer-based labor, inventory, and maintenance tracking applications.

As a plumber on our team, you will be working in a dynamic environment with a variety of pipe materials and fittings. You will be expected to maintain various plumbing systems both inside and outside of buildings, respond to emergency service calls, and accurately document hours worked and tasking performed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing cutting, fitting, connection, and installation of plumbing piping, equipment, fixtures, and systems in compliance with the Uniform Plumbing Code.
  • Diagnosing, repairing, and performing scheduled preventative maintenance on existing plumbing systems, equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure.
  • Maintaining various plumbing systems both inside and outside of buildings.
  • Responding to emergency service calls during and outside of normal working hours.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess:

  • A current Journeyman Plumber license (8,000 hour) or equivalent Union membership in good standing.
  • Minimum four years of documented experience in all phases of the plumbing trade including piping, fixture installation, and service and repair of plumbing systems.
  • Knowledge of the principles of plumbing and the current Uniform Plumbing Code.
  • Ability to diagnose, maintain, adjust, repair, and replace plumbing systems and components.
  • Possess prior computer experience and be able and willing to learn and effectively utilize computer-based labor, inventory, and maintenance tracking applications.
