Our organization seeks a strategic professional to lead the Regulatory Affairs department in the Asia Pacific region. As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing regulatory strategies that ensure compliance with regional regulations.

The successful candidate will have over 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in the cosmetics industry. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as proficiency in English.

This position requires strong leadership and team management skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. A degree in a relevant discipline is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute regulatory strategies that ensure compliance with regional regulations.
  • Oversight of Quality Management in the region to support quality objectives.
  • Enhance consumer relationships within the region through policy updates and execution plans.
Regulatory Affairs Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a regional regulatory team to manage formula, labeling, and registration/notification compliance.
  • Plan and execute short-term and long-term goals/objectives in regulatory field to meet marketing objectives.
  • Collect evolving regulations, provide counsel to stakeholders/management, and lead advocacy to local authorities.
Quality Management Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a regional quality team to manage quality control for companies.
  • Plan and execute short-term and long-term goals/objectives in quality to meet marketing objectives.
Consumer Relationship Key Responsibilities:
  • Update policies to enhance consumer relationships within the region.
  • Support local affiliates with health/quality complaints from a technical and consumer relationship perspective.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in a relevant discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in the cosmetics industry.
  • Knowledge of cosmetic science/technical aspects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel globally for business.
