Job Description

To lead a team in achieving store objectives, provide direction and coaching to ensure efficient operations and maximize sales.

  • Generate sales by leading the team in maximizing commercial opportunities.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by mentoring, coaching, investigating training requirements, motivating, and incorporating customer service into daily briefings.
  • Drive visual merchandising by delivering activity calendars, liaising with merchandising teams, and implementing changes to merchandise layouts.
  • Ensure operational efficiency by planning staffing resources, working closely with supporting teams, adhering to legal and company regulations, and monitoring operations standards.
  • Control costs by ensuring administrative documentation and procedures are implemented, managing stock takes, setting and controlling budgets, and leading improvement initiatives.
  • Manage people by leading and motivating staff, delivering performance reviews, providing regular feedback, identifying and developing talent, and driving individual performance.
Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience in store management. Skills include translating business objectives into actionable plans, planning ahead to identify store requirements, interpreting data, responding to changing circumstances, effective interpersonal skills, focusing on results, organizing self and others, pushing individuals to set higher targets, and demonstrating enthusiasm for continuous improvement.

Technical skills include retail store operations, store management systems, strong commercial acumen, well-versed in retail market trends, good communication, MS Office, especially Excel, and knowledge of SAP.

Behavioral competencies include delighting customers, collaboration, maintaining morale, managing complexity, flexibility, planning and organizing, taking initiative, and driving results.
