Middleware Solutions Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and stability of global production service operations in middleware technologies and platforms.

  • Evaluate and enhance the overall performance of technical scopes to guarantee high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and technical specifications, participating in project deliverables activities.
  • Drive continuous improvements for the production environment through automation or manual work and performance hygiene.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in middleware technologies and container platforms.
  • Proficiency in middleware technologies such as WebSphere, JBoss, WildFly, Tomcat, Apache, Kafka.
  • Experience with container platforms like Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with operating systems including Linux, Unix, and/or Windows.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and data analytics tools like Nagios, OMI, ServiceNow, Geneos.
  • Scripting skills in Java, Unix Shell, Bash, Python, PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL Service Management framework, including Incident, Problem, and Change processes.
