We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of the security department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, colleagues, and premises.
Job Description:
The Senior Security Officer will oversee safety and security operations, ensuring overall safety and security of guests, colleagues, and premises. This includes supervising static security posts, monitoring CCTV, and maintaining access control to sensitive areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key member of the Emergency Response Team, responding to fires, accidents, medical emergencies, and safety concerns.
- Ensure all incidents are responded to appropriately and fully recorded in the security logbook.
- Conduct comprehensive briefings and debriefings for Security Officers before and after shifts.
- Enforce compliance with internal policies regarding fire safety, health, hygiene, and security.
- Operate and monitor the CCTV system for any breaches in security and respond swiftly as necessary.
- Assist the Security Manager in training the security team on safety standards, emergency protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Provide assistance to other hotel departments as directed, especially during peak periods, emergencies, or special events.
- Respond quickly and professionally to guest concerns related to safety or security.
