We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who has experience with various welding techniques and equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of welds, maintaining welding tools and equipment, and following workplace safety standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications and be able to operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

We are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail who can work well in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and ensuring the quality of welds
  • Maintaining welding tools and equipment
  • FOLLOWING WORKPLACE SAFETY STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES
  • Always following specifications and instructions for maximum efficiency
  • Welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Planning layouts and procedures
  • Maintains shop, equipment, tools, vehicles, for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items
  • Setting up components for welding
  • Performing welding tasks based on technical drawings and specifications
  • Operating welding equipment safely and efficiently
  • Reporting damages on machines and equipment
  • Testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
  • Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
