Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomedical science and medical technology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues to provide accurate data for optimal diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of disease states.

This involves performing laboratory test procedures as outlined in established SOPs and according to MOH regulations, ISO and CAP accreditation.

The role requires the ability to correlate clinical information and/or previous lab results and reports discrepancies to the Head of Department.

Additionally, the successful candidate will participate in developmental work on new tests and attend continuing education programs to monitor proficiency, expand current knowledge and enhance professional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Diploma in Biomedical Science/Medical Technology and at least 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or diagnostic lab environment.

Additional requirements include being a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and being able to commit to a 5.5-day workweek including weekends and public holidays.
