Construction Cost Management Specialist

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Construction Cost Management Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating the costs of construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses. They will also develop and manage project budgets, helping clients and stakeholders understand the financial implications of their construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying and experience in cost control, budgeting, and financial management. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

The role involves administering construction contracts, ensuring that both client and contractor adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in the contract. This includes managing variations, claims, and disputes.

The Construction Cost Management Specialist will also be responsible for preparing regular reports on project costs, providing clients and stakeholders with updates on budget status and financial performance.

At the end of the project, they will compare actual costs against the budgeted amounts and ensure that all contractual obligations are met.

Requirements
  • A diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in surveying or related fields.
  • Experience in road works and civil projects is an advantage.

Working Conditions

Location: Kranji

Working days/hours: Monday-Friday (8:30am-5:30pm), Saturday (8:30am-12:30pm)

Salary: Up to $3500 + VB + Allowance (salary commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
