Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining medical equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Install and test run medical equipment to ensure that all equipment meets company standards of safety and quality and compliance with relevant laws.
  • Maintain and repair medical equipment.
  • Conduct routine calibration and safety checks on the medical equipment.
  • Review the outcome of preventive maintenance activities and make recommendations concerning improvements.
  • Provide in-service training or educational programs on the proper and safe use of medical equipment.
  • Provide on-site technical support to internal and external users.
  • Maintain organized documentation of equipment, inspection reports, and equipment repairs and failures as well as accurate inventory tracking of both addition and disposal of the medical equipment and its parts.
  • Update the inventory, place orders, and verify deliveries.
  • Prepare and evaluate warranty and service contracts.
  • Exercise disciplined expense control.
