Tow Truck Driver Job Description

As a tow truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a road tow truck to transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact customers by phone in advance to arrange vehicle pick-up and drop-off
  • Arrive at the rescue site and destination safely and efficiently
  • Get on and off the vehicle according to the operating requirements and fill out necessary documents
  • Hand over vehicles to receiving parties to ensure safe delivery
  • Under the guidance of the fleet manager, handle electronic eye failures that occur during operation and apply for vehicle maintenance as required

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics
  • Familiarity with dispatch procedures
