Product Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Product Design Engineer to join our team. As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating mechanical components and systems using CAD tools.

  • Design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.) and perform structural, thermal, and CFD simulation.
  • Cross-team collaboration with engineering and project teams to ensure effective integration of components and alignment with project goals.
  • Rapid prototyping using 3D printing, CNC machining, and various fabrication methods.
  • Testing and validation of mechanical, flight, and environmental tests to verify design performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical issues encountered during testing or production.
  • Maintenance of detailed records of designs, test results, and standard operating procedures.
  • Project leadership from concept to delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Interface with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Research and innovation in drone technology, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics or Advance & Digital manufacturing background is preferred.
  • Enjoys product design and working in the cross-section of additive manufacturing and drone technologies.
  • Design for additive manufacturing knowledge.
  • Possess Cad skills (Solidworks, Autocad).
  • Interested in drone, UAV related technology and additive manufacturing.
  • Able to work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Meticulous and Responsible.
  • Independent go-getter but understands the importance of working in a team.
  • Hungry to learn and willing to get hands dirty.
