Marine Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing marine vessels, engines, and onboard systems.

  • Inspect and maintain marine vessels and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in marine equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing according to manufacturer standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting sea trials and operational tests after repairs or installations, and maintaining accurate service records, reports, and inventory of parts.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Diploma in Marine/Mechanical/Electrical engineering study background or equivalent experience. Additionally, candidates with hands-on repairing experience for marine vessels are preferred.
