About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Landscape Architect to join our team at SALD PTE. LTD. as a Junior Landscape Architect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design thinking and process, translating design ideas into effective design solutions.
  • Produce high-quality design packages for Concept, Schematic Design, and Design Development stages.
  • Develop construction documentation and conduct site inspections to ensure projects meet contract terms and schedules.
  • Manage and coordinate projects, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Participate in client, consultant, and contractor meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  • Coordinate plan submissions and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Travel as required to support project needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the team's objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and spoken Japanese and English language skills.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in landscape design with some project experience.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite software packages.
  • Excellent conceptualization skills and ability to articulate design concepts into detailed designs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of trees and plants, including their form, physiology, growth habits, and landscape materials.
