Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and multi-talented individual to support our dental professionals in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Dental Surgery Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing instruments, mixing materials, and managing the clinical environment
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Greet patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle patient inquiries and administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Support the dental team in various other duties as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Surgery Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and the dental team
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities effectively
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of sterilization and infection control
