Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AV Technician to join our team at Marriott International. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audiovisual equipment and systems to ensure seamless events and meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate audiovisual equipment, including projectors, screens, and sound systems
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and systems
  • Oversee the set-up of audiovisual equipment in banquet and meeting rooms
  • Ensure all equipment is fully operational and repair or clean as needed
  • Label broken equipment and communicate problems to management
  • Assist and instruct guests on proper usage and operation of audiovisual equipment
  • Upsell different audiovisual services and monitor equipment operation
  • Break down and remove equipment when not in use

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • No license or certification required
