Job Description

DBS Bank is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join our Technology & Operations team. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for enabling the bank's technology strategy and driving the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future enterprise business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the bank's business strategy and processes, and translate this into technology solutions.
  • Provide technical vision and strategy for the bank's technology architecture, with a focus on platforms and product reusable components.
  • Lead the preparation of detailed design specifications for the development and modification of applications.
  • Define integration patterns and ensure that the bank's technology standards are adopted and implemented.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and document application design principles, service catalogues, and patterns that can be adopted as enterprise and solution architecture standards.
  • Drive design consistency across the bank and reduce repeated and duplication of work.
  • Ensure that the bank's technology architecture is aligned with the bank's business strategy and is scalable, robust, and supportable.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in related fields, including at least 5 years as Enterprise Architect.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business strategy and processes and its successful translation into technology solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical architecture and modern application design patterns, including microservices, serverless functions.
  • Good End-to-End Architecture understanding, including Enterprise Java Stack, Front-End technologies, mobile applications, Middleware, Databases, Data Lake, RESTful APIs, and streaming technology.
  • Deep understanding of Enterprise Integration and Messaging Patterns, SOA Governance practices.
  • Experienced working in a cloud native work environment, including public cloud, containers, serverless, cloud data, credential and security management.
  • Basic proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Java, C#, Golang, Ansible, Python.
  • Good knowledge of web development standards, database technologies, and DevOps, SRE, and Agile methodology and tools.
  • Familiar with one or more Architecture Frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage management on sharing of strategic plans, execution update, leading project, and providing status updates.
  • Excellent problem analysis skills and self-drive to discover, define, develop, and deliver solutions that are data-driven.
  • Ability and willingness to be hands-on with strong attention to framework and detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple concurrent initiatives.
