Senior System Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to spearhead our system development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in multiple disciplines, including electronics, mechanics, optics, firmware, and systems.

This role involves driving the transformation of complex requirements into innovative, high-quality products and solutions through close collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all technical aspects in product development, partnering with stakeholders to define system requirements.
  • Identification of technical constraints and ensuring that requirements are realistic and achievable.
  • Leadership of the technical workstream to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with quality and cost targets.
  • Design of the system architecture, breaking it down into clear domains that meet system specifications, safety requirements, and manufacturing cost goals.
  • Development, review, and optimization of system test cases and specifications to ensure quality, robustness, and efficiency.
  • Conduct of feasibility studies to explore and integrate new technologies for future products.
  • Support of product lifecycle activities, including coordination of failure analysis and driving design improvements.
  • Establishment and management of the system verification plan to support test-driven development.
  • Provision of hands-on technical leadership, guiding cross-functional teams and resolving challenges.
  • Mitigation of technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in R&D product development for embedded systems, with involvement in at least five full-cycle product launches.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve cross-functional technical issues in embedded system design.
  • Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI, electronics design, software development, and thermal management.
  • Solid understanding of sensor technologies and their principles.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying product regulatory standards to guide engineering decisions.
