This position involves inspecting devices in-process and upon completion to verify compliance with regulatory guidelines and company standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of components and/or finished medical device products using various tools and equipment to ensure design specifications are met.
- Highlighting and escalating work issues to Leads.
- Performing functional testing of finished medical device products using automated and manual testing equipment.
- Verifying quality records, including Device History Records review and product release for interplant shipment or distribution.
- Maintaining inventory to ensure proper storage conditions and movement.
- Performing general work area housekeeping duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Basic computer skills.
- The ability to read, comprehend, and speak English, with strong communication skills.
- The ability to use applicable tools and equipment, with high manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- A basic level of understanding of inspection procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide/accept feedback from colleagues.
- Strict attention to detail and adherence to company rules and requirements.
