Visual Designer Job Description

Cheil Worldwide is a leading integrated marketing communications network. We are looking for a talented and innovative Visual Designer to join our team. The role focuses on crafting visually compelling designs that enhance the brand and create engaging digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Conceptualization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design briefs, develop creative concepts, and bring ideas to life in a visually engaging manner.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all visual designs align with and enhance the brand's identity, maintaining consistent aesthetics across all platforms and marketing channels.
  • Digital Design Creation: Design and produce high-quality visual assets for digital platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, digital ads, and promotional materials.
  • User Experience Focus: Concentrate on the aesthetics of user interfaces, ensuring that designs are not only visually appealing but also enhance the overall user experience (UX).
  • Collaboration with UX/UI Teams: Work closely with UX/UI designers to create visually attractive and intuitive user interfaces for websites, apps, and other digital touchpoints.
  • Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to create design solutions that meet project objectives and user needs.
  • Visual Strategy Development: Assist in formulating visual strategies that engage target audiences and elevate brand awareness.
  • Asset Management: Maintain and organize a library of digital assets, ensuring easy access and efficient workflow for the team.
  • Design Iteration & Feedback: Embrace constructive feedback from clients and team members, continuously refining designs based on performance data and input.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging design techniques, integrating new ideas into your work when appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Visual Designer or in a similar design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills in digital, web, and print media.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) or equivalent design software.
  • A strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and visual storytelling.
  • Solid experience designing for digital platforms, including websites, mobile apps, social media, and digital ads.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design principles and UX/UI best practices.
  • A strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work on time and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively within constraints.
