Job Summary:
- Lead a team of quantity surveyors in post-contract and procurement for fast-track construction projects.
- Oversee budgeting, cash flow, cost control, claims processing, contract payments, and final accounts.
- Manage subcontractor/supplier quotations, negotiations, and contract awards within budget.
- Handle contractual matters including progress claims, variations, EOT, and loss/expense claims.
- Prepare monthly cost and progress reports for financial tracking and forecasting.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve commercial issues.
- Support procurement strategies, contract reviews, risk management, and value engineering.
- Evaluate and certify payments, VO submissions, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building with min. 5 years' managerial experience in construction.
- Knowledge of SIA, PSSCOC, REDAS, local costs, materials, and procurement practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software (CostX, Glodon, etc.).
