Financial Planner Role

The primary objective of this position is to perform detailed financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting tasks. This role requires a seasoned subject matter expert with experience in capital planning, financial modeling, and revenue recognition.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop business cases for new sites by gathering and analyzing financial data, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to build comprehensive business case models, incorporating profitability analysis, market research, and asset performance evaluation.
  • Provide critical support to stakeholders, offering informed financial recommendations on new investments and sales opportunities.
  • Perform ongoing analysis of financial results, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable insights.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate large datasets, generate forecasts, and create presentations for executive-level audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA/CPA preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-8 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in construction.
  • Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, including revenue recognition and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as Power Point and Visual Basic.

Working Conditions:
  • Primarily office-based, with occasional remote work arrangements and minimal travel requirements (5-10%).
