Job Description

The Inclusive Preschool Principal is responsible for developing and upholding inclusive preschool philosophies and advocating for the development of inclusive preschools in Singapore.

Key responsibilities include leading the planning and implementation of school events/activities to ensure children of diverse abilities learn, play, and grow together.

The Principal oversees the planning and implementation of curriculum and mentors, coaches, and develops the team to achieve inclusive preschool objectives, outcomes, and impact.

Additionally, the Principal ensures the viability of the preschool as a business entity and is in charge of operations and governance by developing and implementing policies and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum Education: Degree/Master in Preschool Education or equivalent with additional Diploma/Degree/Master in Early Childhood Special Needs Intervention preferred.
  • Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 8 years in leadership role in early childhood education and setting.
  • Knowledge/Skills:
    • Adequate knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research, and practices.
    • Familiarity with ECDA preschool licensing and SPARK accreditation.
    • Good communication and management skills.
