This expert-level role requires hands-on experience in trade settlement and custody operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of capital markets, custodial operations, and settlement procedures.

The responsibilities include monitoring and reporting failed trades, processing settlement instructions, funding, and repatriation instructions for trade settlement.

Additionally, the successful candidate will handle confirmation and settlement-related operations, providing timely updates to stakeholders.

This position requires developing and implementing operational risk control measures, maintaining procedural manuals, and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.

Familiarity with knowledge of trade life cycles, corporate actions, and relevant stock exchange and regulatory guidelines is essential for this role.

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in custody and settlement within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with knowledge of capital markets, custodial operations, settlement procedures, and trade life cycles across stock exchanges custody and depository operations, corporate actions, and relevant stock exchange and regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience in servicing institutional clients such as financial institutions (FI), banks, portfolio management services (PMS), insurance companies, and mutual funds.
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across internal and external teams.
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin language to liaise with internal and external Chinese stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
