About the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities and administration at CTPL, including maintenance, infrastructure, and equipment upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management and be proficient in PLC control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and establish a team of maintenance personnel and implement a preventive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities.
  • Regularly inspect buildings' structures to identify repair or renovation needs and address electrical, plumbing, or structural issues promptly.
  • Organize and oversee installations related to telecommunications, heating, electricity, and other infrastructure components, as well as coordinate refurbishments to enhance the workplace environment.
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards and ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and operational.
  • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs, optimize energy usage, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise engineer and facilities staff, including custodians, technicians, and groundskeepers, and collaborate with external contractors for maintenance and repairs.
  • Allocate office space based on organizational needs and manage the daily administration operations, including receptionist, mailroom, pantry supplies, stationeries, and copier paper replenishment.
  • Manage company transportation and cafeteria vendors, including day-to-day coordination and working with the supply chain for contract renewal and price negotiation.
  • Participate actively in company productivity and quality programs, such as Carrier Excellence, and involve in EH&S on-going enhancement and implementation.
  • Create and maintain budgets for maintenance, repairs, admin, and contracts, and sustain and improve Green Building activities and programs.
  • Ensure that all relevant personnel are informed of all plant/site facilities activities and maintain updated documents to meet ISO 9001 standards.
Requirements:
  • A degree with 5 years of related working experience in facilities and utilities, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge in PLC control.
  • Knowledge in building structure, such as erecting new office rooms or A&A projects.
  • Preferable with Green Mark Accredited Professionals (GMAP) and Electrician license.
