Relief Support Officer

This role involves providing relief support to schools across Singapore, ensuring the efficient processing and circulation of resources, and maintaining library standards.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team to achieve our goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to interact effectively with students and teachers.
The selected candidate will undergo training and receive a monthly transport allowance in addition to their base salary.
Responsibilities- Provide relief support to schools across Singapore
- Evaluate and process resource requests from students and other library patrons
- Maintain library materials and ensure they are catalogued and shelved according to recognised library standards
- Create promotional materials and displays to support the school curriculum and library programs
- Conduct library programs and activities
- Generate regular reports on loans, overdue items, fines, and other collection-related statistics
- Assist library patrons with queries
- Ensure good housekeeping in the libraries, including tidying up and maintaining clear and accurate shelf signages
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 4 GCE 'O' level passes, including English
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoy interacting with students and teachers
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Open to learning new systems and processes
