Vulnerability Management Specialist


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Vulnerability Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments on various systems and infrastructure components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security policies, procedures, and guidelines at all levels of management and staff.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments on On-prem, Cloud hosted systems, containers (such as Docker & Kubernetes), databases, web services, and other widely deployed infrastructure components.
  • Performing false positive validation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality reports.
  • Analyzing vulnerability results and detection logic, providing technical advice and support on remediation to infrastructure/application support teams.
  • Maintaining the quality assurance of vulnerabilities by enhancing the VM team's technical knowledge base.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in performing Vulnerability assessment & Policy Compliance using leading Vulnerability Scanning solutions like Qualys.
  • Strong understanding of security policies, procedures, and guidelines at all levels of management and staff.
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing, to establish cooperative working relationships and provide suggestions to enhance the Vulnerability Management service based on current trends in information technology (Network, system security software, and hardware).
