Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager for Events to join our team at SDQ International Productions Pte Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing events and exhibitions, including coordinating logistics, scheduling, and budgeting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will work closely with designers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate must possess strong business acumen, with experience in price negotiation and budget management. They should also be familiar with event procedures and venue requirements, as well as having an established network of clients and contractors within the industry.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Manage events and exhibitions
  • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Work closely with designers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Liaise with subcontractors on project requirements
  • Engage in price negotiation with suppliers
  • Manage project budget and proper documentation
  • Follow up with authority on regulatory submission
  • Provide on-site support for events


Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with 3+ years of MICE industry experience, preferably with resources of related suppliers and contractors. Bilingual skills are essential, with experience in handling C clients being preferred. Familiarity with event & exhibition procedures and venue requirements is also required. Strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, co-workers, and clients are necessary, as well as the ability to work under pressure to ensure timely and smooth execution of projects. Self-motivated, sales-driven individuals who can work independently as well as part of a team are encouraged to apply.
