  • The role encompasses various responsibilities, including:
    • Providing expert guidance on GST implications to clients across diverse industries, including financial services.
    • Assisting clients with GST registration, exemption, and various schemes.
    • Reviewing and filing GST returns.
    • Conducting GST health check reviews, due diligence reviews, and other specialized tasks.
    • Supporting clients during IRAS GST audits and investigations.
    • Facilitating GST rulings from IRAS.
    • Collaborating with partners to develop the GST practice and engaging in ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field, preferably accompanied by a recognized professional qualification.
  • Minimum 6 years of Singapore GST experience, preferably gained in a professional services firm or accounting company.
  • Familiarity with Singapore Tax laws and guidelines is essential.
  • Strong delivery focus, timely execution, and excellent communication skills are critical for this position.
  • Proven leadership, client, staff, and project management abilities, along with analytical skills, are necessary for success.
  • Effectively bilingual, with strong spoken and written communication skills, and the ability to work seamlessly across all levels.
  • A strong team player with the capacity to work under pressure and multitask.
