Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

The role of a Healthcare Support Worker is to provide assistance and support to residents in a nursing home setting. This includes assisting registered nurses in the delivery of nursing care, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and accompanying residents to hospital appointments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with clinical procedures such as wound dressing and medication administration
  • Ensuring the comfort and personal hygiene of residents under their care
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of resident case files

Requirements:

  • GCE N Level qualification or equivalent
  • Completion of WSQ Higher Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care) or ITE Approved Training Centre (ATC) Healthcare (Home Care) Programme

Successful applicants without required qualifications will be sent for Certificate in Community Care (Community Care Traineeship Programme) with employer-funded courses.
