Job Title: Trade & Market Risk Analyst

Role Overview

This position involves monitoring digital asset markets, investigating potential rule violations, and proposing enhancements to current processes and systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in trade/market risk management, familiarity with digital assets, and hands-on knowledge of risk surveillance software and querying tools. They will be responsible for analyzing daily output from risk practice and market surveillance systems, investigating potential rule violations, and proposing thoughtful enhancements to the current processes and systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and interpreting data from various sources to identify potential risks and anomalies.
  • Investigating and resolving issues related to trade/market surveillance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance existing processes and systems, improving overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in trade/market risk management, preferably within the digital assets sector.
  • Familiarity with risk surveillance software and querying tools, as well as experience working with large datasets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
