Energy and Carbon Management Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Energy and Carbon Management Specialist to join our team. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Account Manager in Energy and Carbon Management, you will be responsible for driving, developing, and expanding both energy and carbon management business areas.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting site surveys, energy and carbon performance assessments, feasibility studies, and facilitating customer workshops. You will also contribute to defining effective sales strategies and support country offices in securing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct energy audits, analysis, and benchmarking to assess performance and identify inefficiencies, and make recommendations to improve energy efficiency.
  • Analyze and report Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and support development of carbon neutrality strategies and net-zero roadmaps.
  • Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, platforms, and tools based on customer requirements, considering factors like scalability, performance, security, and cost.
  • Drive, develop, and expand the energy and carbon management business to achieve departmental sales targets.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Chemical Engineering, Energy System Engineering, or Environmental Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in carbon or energy management is necessary.
  • Experience in energy auditing, energy efficiency, carbon accounting, and technical sales is essential.
  • Certification as a Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) or Professional Engineer (PE) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ISO 50001, GHG Protocol, or equivalent frameworks is required.
  • Knowledge of refinery/petrochemicals industry and processes is beneficial.
  • The ability to conduct energy audits, analysis, and benchmarking to assess performance and identify inefficiencies, and make recommendations to improve energy efficiency is crucial.
  • The ability to analyze and report Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and support development of carbon neutrality strategies and net-zero roadmaps is vital.
  • Knowledge of up/mid-stream and other industry sectors such as chemicals, fertilizer, and related industries is an advantage.
  • Experience in assessing carbon footprint and supporting decarbonization initiatives is advantageous.
