Job Overview:

As a Network Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance network infrastructure. This position requires a strong background in networking fundamentals, as well as the ability to analyze complex system issues and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage network architecture, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Monitor network performance and health, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services with other IT systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP.
  • Proficiency in network operating systems, such as Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, or Windows Server.
  • Experience with network management tools, including SolarWinds, Nagios, or Prometheus.
  • Ability to analyze complex system issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
