The role of a Vice Principal in early childhood education is multifaceted and requires expertise in strategic planning, leadership, and management. This position plays a vital part in shaping the educational direction of the preschool, ensuring that teachers receive guidance and support to refine their pedagogy and teaching methods.
- Guiding curriculum development by providing insights and expertise to enhance teacher growth and skills.
- Developing strategies for parent engagement, community involvement, and talent management to foster a collaborative environment.
- Overseeing center operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and expense management, to optimize resources and efficiency.
- Implementing and managing specific center programs, initiatives, and events to promote a positive and engaging experience for students and families.
- Managing various administrative tasks related to center operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day activities.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE).
- Experience: 3-5 years in early childhood education, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Familiarity with ECDA regulations and EYDF.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passionate about child development and early childhood education.
