Supply Chain Manager for Renewable Energy Projects

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join TPC, a prominent player in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will oversee the procurement and contract management of equipment and construction services essential for renewable energy initiatives. This position entails crafting and executing a procurement strategy that aligns with the company's objectives, nurturing supplier relationships, enforcing procurement protocols, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Formulate and synchronize procurement strategies with corporate objectives
  • Guarantee efficient procurement planning and execution
  • Establish and uphold procurement policies and procedures
  • Manage supplier relationships and promote diversity
  • Implement group procurement policies, procedures, and workflows
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address operational challenges
  • Ensure that procured materials meet specified requirements
  • Compile and present monthly reports on procurement activities
  • Mentor and support future procurement team members
  • Lead and drive projects and initiatives focused on procurement and organizational goals

Professional Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Procure-to-Pay and Source-to-Contract methodologies
  • 7-9 years of procurement and contract management experience in the energy industry
  • Expertise in post-award contract management and sourcing methodologies
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Resourceful, self-sufficient, and possess strong negotiation capabilities
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing initiatives and supplier onboarding processes
  • Negotiate advantageous terms and assess supplier performance
  • Implement sourcing strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Analyze spending categories for cost efficiency
  • Manage ongoing supplier relationships and contractual agreements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement within the Renewable Energy sector
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Familiarity with renewable energy concepts
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Results-oriented and capable of thriving in dynamic environments
