Job Description:
This position will drive digital transformation and data governance in our academic services through integrated student systems, emerging technologies, and data analytics. You will spearhead system development projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and initiate continuous improvement efforts to maintain and enhance our systems' effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of our Student Management System and AI blueprint projects, ensuring they meet institutional goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, facilitate communication, and ensure project alignment throughout lifecycles.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, recording functional and technical requirements, decisions, and changes.
  • Conduct research on global best practices and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovation in academic services and student experience.
  • Facilitate user training and post-implementation support to ensure smooth system adoption and effective troubleshooting.
  • Steward data quality, governance, and handling practices within our office, supporting the review of data-related initiatives and requests from various stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of data analytics and visualisation capabilities for Academic Services, creating effective data dashboards for stakeholders to retrieve student information and monitor operations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Education, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of total working experience with minimum 5 years' experience in a managerial role.
  • Experience in academic services, project management, systems implementation, data analytics, and visualisation will be advantageous.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale system or digital transformation projects in an academic environment.
  • Strong team player with stakeholder-centric mindset and high integrity.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively, negotiate, and influence decisions.
