Early Years Support Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to support our teaching team in delivering high-quality learning experiences for young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the main teacher to plan and implement engaging lessons and activities that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Contribute to the preparation of educational materials, class organisation, and daily lesson setup.
- Engage children through interactive play, songs, games, and stories that foster curiosity and creativity.
- Support the observation and documentation of children's progress, promoting individualised growth and development.
- Supervise and guide children during indoor and outdoor play sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that promotes social-emotional growth and learning.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues, children, and families through effective communication and teamwork.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is desirable (fresh graduates are also welcome).
- An approachable and empathetic nature, with a genuine love for working with young children.
- A willingness to learn from others and take guidance from experienced educators.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for early childhood education, and a commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the teaching team to deliver high-quality learning experiences and contribute to the development of educational materials and resources.
