Job Description:

  • Conduct compliance testing on regulatory areas excluding AML for the private banking business across APAC.

The role will support corporate and investment banking business' compliance testing as a secondary responsibility.

  • Develop, refresh and carry out yearly compliance testing plan to assess controls in investment suitability, best execution, cross-border marketing, COI etc.
  • Execute risk-based assurance testing to validate controls and processes that mitigate compliance risks.
  • Detect and report potential control weaknesses or non-compliance findings.
  • Presentation of findings and recommendations through concise reports to improve overall compliance oversight.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Around 7-10 years of compliance testing or assurance experience from the private banking/wealth management industry.
  • Candidates from business risk and controls background focusing on the private banking industry are welcome.
  • Familiar with recent regulatory changes/developments pertaining to the private banking industry.
