Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician, Field Process Operations to join our team at SABIC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Ultem Polymer Plant in Benoi, Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control the polymerization process to ensure optimal quality and yield production.
- Perform routine patrol checks, collect data, and conduct safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Actively participate in EHSS activities, including concern reporting, Safety Risk Assessment, and EHSS committee meetings.
- Assist in maintenance works and perform routine cleaning of process equipment.
- Manage and coordinate logistics and downstream production teams for raw material handling, finish good management, and packaging.
- Participate in EHSS, Cost & Quality improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum Higher NITEC and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Adequate working experience in process and mechanical fields.
- Good knowledge and experience in PTW system and ERT trainings.
- In-depth knowledge in polymerization processing, fire vessel operation, and solid handling.
- Basic investigation skills to make right judgments in the continuous operational environment.
- Good communication skills in verbal and written English.
