Sales Director for APAC Region

Mission
You will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering on assigned targets related to company products and services in line with the annual IBA Industrial solutions strategy, sales plan, and margin objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales and margin targets within the designated portfolio of existing or new clients in Asia-Pacific (From India to Japan including Australia and excluding China & Taiwan)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region, negotiating best deals in accordance with the pricing strategy and business ethics
- Develop and manage a network of agents and distributors to accelerate business development in the region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, prospects, agents, distributors, B2B contacts, and key opinion leaders
- Stay up-to-date with technical knowledge and communicate effectively with customers and prospects, contributing to market intelligence and reporting any adverse events
- Track activities and customer information in CRM databases, providing accurate and timely reporting
- Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and internal departments to ensure product/service availability and timely delivery
- Participate in events, fairs, and marketing campaigns
Requirements
- Relevant experience in high-tech industry and complex products related sales, with at least 10 years of experience
- Long-term approach, as sales cycles can be lengthy (more than 1 year)
- Strong ability to handle constructive, long-term, and efficient customer relationships
- Ability to interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent knowledge of English, with any other local Asian language being an asset
Location
- Based in Thailand, Malaysia, or Singapore
- Client-oriented, ensuring efficient sales processes and professional contacts
- Stress-resistant, as you will be between customer requirements and internal constraints
- Hands-on, driven, and self-starter to gather relevant information
- Proactive and eager to learn, sell, and grow the business
- Able to find new leads and drive sales until contract closure through relevant initiatives
- Accurate and rigorous, able to plan and organize work autonomously
- Assertive team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ready to travel up to 20-30% of the time
