Senior Director of Internal Controls

The Senior Audit role is responsible for driving audit readiness and preparation in a fast-growing organization.
As a critical member of the senior leadership team, this position will have high visibility and significant impact on the company's performance.
- Establish and lead the internal audit function, including developing comprehensive audit frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and design audit plans to ensure alignment with business priorities.
- Execute audits across operational, financial, and compliance areas, reporting findings to senior management and the audit committee.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support enterprise risk management and internal control initiatives that drive sustainable growth and stability.
A successful candidate should possess:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent being advantageous.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or standalone audit role.
- Prior exposure to manufacturing audits is essential; experience in agile or fast-paced environments is highly valued.
- A strong grasp of internal controls, risk management, and audit methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders with professionalism and emotional intelligence.
