Electrical Equipment Repair Technician

We are looking for a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Equipment Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical and electronics diagnostics, repair services, and troubleshooting for electrical and electronic home appliances and industrial equipment.

You will use various testing equipment such as multimeters and clamp meters to identify faults and perform repairs. Additionally, you will provide customer service, receive and collect electrical appliances and equipment, and communicate with customers on the outcome of diagnostics and next course of action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and electronics diagnostics, repair services, and troubleshooting for electrical and electronic home appliances and industrial equipment.
  • Use testing equipment such as multimeters and clamp meters to identify faults and perform repairs.
  • Provide customer service, receive and collect electrical appliances and equipment.
  • Communicate with customers on the outcome of diagnostics and next course of action.
  • Manage stock inventory and ensure proper care of equipment and appliances.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred.
  • No experience required, on-the-job training provided.
  • Valid Class 3 or Class 2 driving license preferred but not mandatory.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
