Logistics Co-ordinator Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Co-ordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in coordinating trade-show materials movements and ensuring the smooth operation of events.

This role involves coordinating with trade show organizers and contractors during exhibitions, managing rental of equipment's to contractors, and ensuring all equipment maintenance schedules are diligently followed up.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with trade show organizers and contractors during exhibitions.
  • Manage rental of equipment's to contractors.
  • Ensure all equipment maintenance schedules are diligently followed up.
  • Handle/operate high reach equipment & forklifts.
  • Assist with traffic marshalling as and when required.
  • Assist with the opening and closing of air walls in the expo halls according to clients' requirements.
  • Ensure all defects in the building are reported accordingly and monitor the rectification/repair of defects.
  • Stuffing/unstuffing of containers and manage loading/unloading docks.
  • Provide briefing to contractors accessing property for event set up and tear down.
  • Check for any illegal storage in MICE.
  • Liaise with Facilities team for removal/installation of lifts padding and switching on/off of hall lighting for events.
  • Assist Waste Management Operations team in supervision of cleanliness at MICE and dilapidation of events.
  • Assist Mail & Package Operations team with deliveries.
  • Assist Waste Management Operations team with dilapidation of events.
  • Assist Mail & Package Operations team with deliveries after operating hours.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • No formal education required.
  • A valid forklift driver and high reach equipment license is a must.
  • At least three (3) years' experience working as a Logistics Specialist in Conventions and Exhibitions industry.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and overnight, as well as on public holidays.
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure.
